About
Brooke Williams
Everyone is unique, so our approach to your challenges will be as well.
Working primarily from a person-centred perspective, Brooke leaves all assumptions, judgments, and personal opinions at the door. Creating a safe and open space for you to be your most authentic self is essential. Utilizing integrated therapeutic theories, Brooke draws from narrative therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, feminist therapy, and solution-focused therapy, all of which harmonize beautifully with person-centred therapy. What does this actually mean?
Every experience in your life will influence our approach to your goals. This means examining the narratives you tell yourself, your automatic thoughts, and their effects on you. Each of these thought patterns has played a role in getting you to this point; together, we will delve into what you believe might be holding you back or causing distress. We may incorporate some cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques to help you alter negative and unhelpful thoughts. I’ll assist you in recognizing your strengths, valuable traits, and attributes.
